Charitable objects

THE OBJECT OF THE CLUB IS THE PROVISION OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION (IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE) OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR PEOPLE WITH AND WITHOUT DISABILITIES IN COUNTY DURHAM. IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECT, BUT NOT FURTHER OR OTHERWISE, THE CLUB SHALL HAVE THE POWER TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE OBJECTS OF THE CLUB AND TO DO ANY LAWFUL THINGS THAT MAY BE CONDUCIVE TO THE ATTAINMENT OF THE FOREGOING OBJECT
