TO ENCOURAGE SKILL IN RIFLE SHOOTING BY PROVIDING INSTRUCTION AND PRACTICE TO ANY OF HER MAJESTY'S SUBJECTS SO THAT THEY MAY BE BETTER FITTED TO SERVE THEIR COUNTRY IN THE ARMED FORCES, THE TERRITORIAL ARMY OR ANY OTHER ORGANISATION.
