FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND NEED AMONG INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED OR ENGAGED IN ANY CAPACITY ON BOARD ANY BRITISH MERCHANT SHIP OR WHO ARE OR HAVE BEEN EMPLOYED OR ENGAGED IN ANY CAPACITY IN WORKING CONTROLLING MANAGING OR ADMINISTERING ANY BRITISH MERCHANT SHIP OR SHIPS AND THE WIVES OR WIDOWS CHILDREN OR OTHER DEPENDANTS OF SUCH INDIVIDUALS AND ANY INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE BEING TRAINED OR EDUCATED IWTH A VIEW TO TAKING UP ANY SUCH EMPLOYMENT OR ENGAGEMENT.
