Charitable objects

(1) FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO MEMBERS OF THE STAFF IN CONSEQUENCE OF EXTRAORDINARY EXPENSES ARISING IN CASES OF SICKNESS, SURGICAL OPERATIONS OR ACCIDENTS; (2) SIMILAR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE NEXT-OF-KIN OF SUCH MEMBERS DYING WHILST SERVING IN THE SAID DEPARTMENT, RETIRED MEMBERS OF THE STAFF AND WIDOWS OF FORMER MEMBERS OF THE STAFF.
