Charitable objects

TO AFFORD IMMEDIATE RELIEF TO THOSE IN ANY PART OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE OR ITS PRECINCTS WHO ARE UNDER SICKNESS OR DISTRESS, THAT THE RELIEF BE GIVEN IN CLOTHING, FOOD OR OTHER NECESSARIES, AS THE URGENCY OF THE CASE MAY REQUIRE, AND THAT NO RELIEF BY ALLOWED BUT WHERE THE OBJECTS OF IT HAVE BEEN VISITED AND THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES CLOSELY ENQUIRED INTO.
