Charitable objects

THE SPECIAL TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE CLEAR INCOME OF THE CHARITY FOR THE RELIEF OF IN-PATIENTS OF ANY HOSPITAL WHICH FORMERLY FORMED PART OF THE ST. MARY'S HOSPITAL GROUP WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN SUCH WAYS AS THE SPECIAL TRUSTEES THINK FIT. IN PARTICULAR, ASSISTANCE MAY BE GIVEN TO SUCH PERSONS ON THEIR DISCHARGE FROM HOSPITAL BY WAY OF GRANTS OF MONEY, EQUIPMENT OR OTHER FORM OF ASISTANCE, INCLUDING DONATIONS TO ANY INSTITUTION WHICH PROVIDES OR UNDERTAKES IN RETURN TO PROVIDE SERVICES OR FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED OF SUCH PERSONS.
