A) THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION AND RESEARCH INTO NATURAL HISTORY INCLUDING GEOLOGY WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE BRISTOL DISTRICT AND B) THE PROMOTION OF THE CONSERVATION OF THE BRITISH FAUNA AND FLORA AND THE PROTECTION OF GEOLOGICAL AND PHYSIOGRAPHICAL SITES.
