Charitable objects

1. INCOME FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH POOR WIDOWS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF EDINGALE AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT EITHER IN GRANTS OF MONEY OR GIFTS IN KIND. 2. IF AND IN SO FAR AS INCOME CANNOT BE APPLIED AS AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES MAY APPLY IT AS THEY THINK FIT IN LIKE MANNER FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH POOR PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF EDINGALE. 3. THE SAID INCOME SHALL NOT BE APPLIED DIRECLY IN RELIEF OF RATES, TAXES OR OTHER PUBLIC FUNDS BUT MAY BE APPLIED IN SUPPLEMENTING RELIEF OR ASSISTANCE PROVIDED OUT OF PUBLIC FUNDS.
