(B) TO DEFRAY THE WHOLE OR A PART OF THE FEES PAYABLE BY NURSES FOR REFRESHER OR INSTRUCTION COURSES IN OPHTHALMOLOGY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. (C) TO DEFRAY THE WHOLE OR A PART OF THE COST OF PURCHASE OF OPHTHALMOLOGICAL INSTRUMENTS. (D) TO ASSIST OPHTHALMIC PATIENTS RECEIVING TREATMENT TO OBTAIN IN DESERVING CASES CONVALESCENT TREATMENT.
