RELIEVING IN CASES OF NEED BRITISH NATIONALS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO ARE RESIDENT OR LOCATED IN THE NAPLES CONSULAR DISTRICT IN THE SAID REPUBLIC OF ITALY WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED OR INFIRM BY PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES WHICH ARE CALCULATED TO ALLEVIATE THE SUFFERING OR ASSIST THE RECOVERY OF SUCH PERSONS IN SUCH CASES BUT ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE TO THEM FROM OTHER SOURCES OR BY PAYING OR ASSISTING IN THE PAYMENT OF THE FUNERAL EXPENSES OF ANY SUCH PERSONS ON THEIR DEATH.
