Charitable objects

TO MAINTAIN OR INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY AND ESPRIT DE CORPS OF THE REGIMENT OR OF ANY OF THE UNITS FOR THE TIME BEING OF TH REGIMENT. TO ASSIST SERVING OR RETIRED PERSONNEL AND THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO ARE IN NEED. TO PAY FOR ACTS OF MEMORIAL FOR DECEASED PERSONS WHO HAVE EITHER SERVED IN THE REGIMENT OR BEEN CLOSELY CONNECTED THEREWITH AND TO MEET THE COST OF THE FIELD OF REMEMBRANCE AT WESTMINSTER ABBEY AND THE MAINTENANCE OF REGIMENTAL GUIDONS. TO MAKE GRANTS TO OTHER CHARITIES DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY BENEFITING SERVING OR RETIRED PERSONNEL AND THE DEPENDANTS WHO ARE IN NEED. (FOR DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 9 OF TRUST DEED DATED 10TH AUGUST 1970).
