Charitable objects
THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND SICKNESS BY MAKING GRANTS OF MONEY FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES TO ANY BODY ORGANISATION OR INSTITUTION CONCERNED WITH EDUCATION OR WITH THE RELIEF OF POVERTY OR SICKNESS OR WITH RESEARCH INTO EDUCATION OR INTO THE CAUSES OF OR REMEDIES FOR POVERTY OR SICKNESS AND SUCH GRANTS MAY INCLUDE PAYMENTS TO INDIVIDUALS ENGAGED IN STUDIES OR RESEARCH CONCERNED WITH THOSE SUBJECTS PROVIDED THAT THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH SHALL BE DISSEMINATED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND PROVIDED THAT IN MAKING GRANTS UNDER THIS DEED THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE PARTICULAR REGARD FOR THE NEEDS OF THE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES.
