TO FURTHER THE EFFICIENCY OF THE WILTSHIRE AMBULANCE SERVICE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE RELIEF OF SERVING AND RETIRED MEMBERS WHO ARE IN NECESSITOUS FINANCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, OR WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM ILL HEALTH OR INJURY, OR THEIR NECESSITOUS WIDOWS, ORPHANS AND DEPENDANTS.
