(I) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN DRAMA, DANCE AND MUSIC BY THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES TO ENABLE SUITABLE PERSONS TO UNDERTAKE COURSES OF STUDY IN THESE SUBJECTS AND (II) TO RELIEVE POVERTY BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENABLE POTENTIAL PERFORMERS AND ARTISTS TO FOLLOW A CAREER WITHIN THE DANCE, DRAMA AND MUSIC INDUSTRIES.
