1. THE RELIEF FROM POVERTY, DISTRESS AND SICKNESS OF CHILDREN OF ONE-PARENT FAMILIES IN NEED OF CARE AND PROTECTION. 2. THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST THE ADULTS OF ONE-PARENT FAMILIES. 3. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR MEMBERS OF ONE-PARENT FAMILIES.
