TO PROVIDE SOUND EDUCATION IN THE SCIENCE AND ART OF ACUPUNCTURE AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE AND THEREBY PROMOTE THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF PRACTICE IN ACUPUNCTURE AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE FOR THE PROTECTION AND BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, TO BE AVAILABLE TO ANY SUITABLY QUALIFIED PERSON REGARDLESS OF COLOUR, CLASS, RACE, RELIGION, GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR DISABILITY PROVIDED SUCH DISABILITY IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE PROVISION OF SAFE AND EFFECTIVE ACUPUNCTURE AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICAL TREATMENT.
