Charitable objects

(A) TO FOSTER A MUTUAL FRIENDSHIP AND A STRONG CORPORATE SPIRIT AMONGST ITS MEMBERS (B) TO REPRESENT ALL STUDENTS IN ALL MATTERS AFFECTING THEIR WELFARE; AND TO AFFORD A RECOGNISED MEANS OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THEM AND THE COLLEGE AUTHORITIES, THE STAFF OF THE COLLEGE, AND OTHER AUTHORITIES. (C) TO ENCOURAGE SOCIAL, RECREATIVE, ATHLETIC AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES BOTH OF THE UNION AND OF THE AFFILIATED SOCIETIES. (D) TO ADMINISTER THE AFFAIRS OF THE UNION WITHOUT BIAS IN FAVOUR OF ANY POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS GROUPS.
