TO SUPPORT RESEARCH INTO: A) CAUSES OF AND THE POSSIBLE PREVENTION OF AND THE CARE OF CHILD-HOOD AND INSULIN DEPENDENT DIABETES AND B) THE CAUSES AND PREVENTION OF TRANSMISSION OF DIABETES WITHIN FAMILIES AND TO DISSEMINATE GENERALLY AND BE INTERESTED ALL USEFUL RESULTS FROM SUCH RESEARCH. TO SUPPORT THE GIVING OF INFORMATION TO AND EDUCATION FO SUFFERERS FROM DIABETES SUCH AS WILL ASSIST THEM IN COPING WITH THEIR DISEASE.
