TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN THROUGH PROVIDING, MAINTAINING AND EQUIPPING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND EQUIPPING OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND FACILITIES IN THE GAMBIA IN WEST AFRICA PROVIDED THAT IN SO DOING THE TRUSTEES SHALL NOT RELIEVE ANY STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE GAMBIA IN WEST AFRICA OF ANY OF IT'S STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS IN ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE CHILDREN.
