DECLARATION OF TRUST DATED 25 JANUARY 2000
Charitable objects
1) TO PROVIDE A PERMANENT HOME FOR A LIMITED NUMBER (WHICH MAY BE DETERMINED FROM TIME TO TIME BY THE TRUSTEES) OF RESIDENT CATS IN A SANCTUARY IN RYDE, ISLE OF WIGHT. ALL OF THESE CATS HAVING 'SPECIAL NEEDS' BEING OLD (OVER THE AGE OF 9 YEARS), SICK HAVING MANAGEABLE, NON-CONTAGIOUS, DISEASE) OR DISABLED (TO INCLUDE THE BLIND AND PARTIALLY SIGHTED, LOST LIMB AND ACCIDENT VICTIMS WITH PERMANENT INJURY/DISABILITY). 2)TO PROVIDE A HIGH STANDARD OF CARE FOR THESE CATS. TO PROVIDE REGULAR, HIGH QUALITY, VETERINARY CARE WITH DISEASE MANAGEMENT, TREATMENT AND INVESTIGATION. TO ADVOCATE PROMPT EUTHANASIA BY OUR VETERINARY SURGEON OF ANY RESIDENT CAT WHOSE QUALITY OF LIFE DETERIORATES THROUGH AGE, DISEASE OR INJURY. 3) TO PROMOTE HUMANE BEHAVIOUR TOWARD CATS AND TO ADVOCATE ITS HEALTH BY PROVIDING ADVICE TO OWNERS AS TO ITS CARE. 4) TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE OF FELINE DISEASES AND OTHER MATTERS RELIANT TO THE WELL-BEING OF CATS 5) TO DEVELOP PUBLIC AWARENESS OF FELINE DISEASES AND TO PROMOTE THEIR EDUCATION IN MANAGEMENT OF SUCH DISEASES. 6) TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND ADVICE TO CAT OWNERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON ALL MATTERS ARISING FROM THE OBJECTS
