THE OBJECT FOR WHICH THE COMPANY IS FORMED IS TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE WORLD'S FORESTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BY THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF FOREST CERTIFICATION SCHEMES AND THE PROMOTION OF ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE AND ECONOMICALLY VIABLE SYSTEMS OF FOREST MANAGEMENT.
