Charitable objects

(1) TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST AND THE PUBLIC GENERALLY WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS (2)TO RELIEVE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED OR INFIRM (3) TO FURTHER THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS (4) TO RELIEVE IN CASES OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT WITHIN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST
