"TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PERSONS WHO HAVE SUFFERED A STROKE, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, THERAPEUTIC AND RECREATIONAL SERVICES FOR SUCH PERSONS AND THEIR CARERS, IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND SO THAT THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE APPROVED."
