TO FOSTER PATRIOTISM AND GOOD CITIZENSHIP FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AT LARGE BY THE PROVISION IN THE SURREY BOROUGH OF ELMBRIDGE OF A MEMORIAL OR MEMORIALS TO COMMEMORATE BY NAME THOSE FROM MOLESEY WHO LOST LIVES IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR AND IN OTHER CONFLICTS.
