TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND SICKNESS IN RURAL INDIA BY THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND OTHER SUCH ASSISTANCE AS IS NECESSARY FOR EDUCATION IN BASIC LITERACY, NUMERACY AND OTHER LIFE SKILLS, PRIMARILY HEALTH CARE FOR THE POOR AND NEEDY, AND CARE FOR THE ELDERLY.
