Charitable objects

1. THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR INDIVIDUALS IN NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. 2. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS AMONG MEMBERS OF THE AFRICAN COMMUNITY IN THE UK BY THE PROVISION OF A DROP-IN CENTER PROVIDING ADVICE AND INFORMATION ON SUCH MATTERS OF HEALTH, EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT AND DEBT AND BY THE PROVISION OF A WELFARE VISITING SERVICE TO THOSE IN NEED.
