THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE BUDDHIST FAITH, BOTH WITHIN THE UK AND OVERSEAS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE VINAYA PITAKA OF THE PALI CANON BY SUCH EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE. 2.1.2 THE RELIEF OF POVERTY HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT BY WAY OF LIMITATION AMONG ADHERENTS OF THE BUDDHIST FAITH, AMONG SICK AND AGED MEMBERS OF THE BURMESE COMMUNITY WITHIN THE UK. 2.1.3 THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY, ART, MUSIC, DANCE, LANGUAGE, TRADITIONS AND RELIGIOUS BELIEFS OF THE BURMESE PEOPLE BY THE PROMOTION, ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF A BURMESE STUDIES CENTRE.
