Charitable objects
A TO WORK CLOSELY WITH FRIENDS OF UGANDA INTERNATIONALLY TO SUPPORT DISADVANTAGED MEMBERS OF SOCIETY IN THE POOREST REGIONS OF UGANDA IN ORDER TO EMPOWER AND PROMOTE THEIR WELFARE THROUGH TRAINING, ADVOCACY AND NETWORKING FOR THE RELIEF OF NEED, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS. B PROVIDE TRAINING AND CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE SERVICES TO PROMOTE INITIATIVES FOR RAISING AWARENESS, SELF-ENHANCEMENT AND ERADICATION OF POVERTY. C EMBARK ON LOBBYING AND MOBILISING FUNDS FOR EDUCATING ORPHANS, WOMEN AND GENDER DEVELOPMENT, INCREASING HIV/AIDS AWARENESS, CREATION OF INCOME GENERATING PROJECTS, PROMOTING HUMAN VALUES THROUGH CULTURAL EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY AND AFRICA. D COOPERATE WITH DONORS, NGO'S AND GOVERNMENT DEVELOPMENT AGENCIES LOCALLY AND ABROAD IN EFFORTS TO INFLUENCE APPROPRIATE POLICY AND TO ALLEVIATE POVERTY. E INVOLVEMENT OF LOCAL COMMUNITY WITHIN AND ABROAD TO SUPPORT PEACEFUL EXISTENCE AND TAKE ACTION IN SUPPORTING WOMEN AND CHILDREN, HIV/AIDS SUFFERERS, SINGLE MOTHERS, TO SET UP INCOME GENERATING PROJECTS BASED ON SELF-RELIANCE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. F PROMOTE A RECIPROCAL COMMUNICATION NETWORK VIA ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAMS LOCALLY AND ABROAD. G SET UP PROGRAMMES TO PROMOTE AND PRESERVE CULTURAL HISTORY THROUGH ARTISTIC AVENUES SUCH AS MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA AND DIALOGUE. H PROMOTE AND SUPPORT A VARIETY OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES TO HELP PROMOTE OTHER CHANNELS OF OPPORTUNITY FOR THE YOUTH.
