TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH BY RAISING AWARENESS OF THE FUNDAMENTAL ROLE THAT HYGIENE IN THE HOME AND COMMUNITY PLAYS IN PREVENTING INFECTIOUS DISEASE AND BY PROMOTING UNDERSTANDING OF GOOD HYGIENE BASED ON THE SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE.
