Charitable objects

FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE REGIMENT OR OF ANY OF THE UNITS FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE REGIMENT:- 1) FOR THE CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH SERVING MEMBERS OF THE REGIMENT AND THEIR DEPENDANTS. 2) FOR THE CHARITABLE PURPOSES CONNECTED WITH EX-MEMBERS OF THE REGIMENT WHO ARE DEEMED BY THE TRUSTEES TO BE IN CHARITABLE NEED. 3) FOR CONTRIBUTING TOWARDS ANY ABNORMAL EXPENDITURE OF THE OFFICERS', WARRANT OFFICERS' AND SERGEANTS' AND CORPORALS' MESSES AND THE REGIMENTAL INSTITUTE OF THE REGIMENT IF THE WHOLE THEREOF CANNOT IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES REASONABLY BE MET OUT OF THE INCOME OF THE SAID OFFICERS', WARRANT OFFICERS' AND SERGEANTS' AND CORPORALS' MESSES AND THE REGIMENTAL INSTITUTE AS THE CASE MAY BE PROVIDED ALWAYS THAT SUCH EXPENSE IS ONE THAT IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES IS BEING INCURRED SOLELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE REGIMENT.
