1 PROMOTE AND PRESERVE THE GOOD HEALTH OF THE AFRICAN REFUGEE COMMUNITIES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND AFRICAN COMMUNITIES ELSEWHERE BY INCREASING AWARENESS OF, AND PROVIDING CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE HEALTH SERVICES FOR HIV/AIDS, MENTAL HEALTH, ALCOHOL AND DRUG MISUSE AND ILL-HEALTH GENERALLY. 2 FOR THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND DISTRESS AMONGST THE AFRICAN COMMUNITIES. 3 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF AFRICAN COMMUNITIES.
