TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR THE PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED AND OLD PERSONS IN THE AREA OF THE CLAY CROSS URBAN DISTRICT COUNCIL AND CHESTERFIELD RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE AND TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THESE PURPOSES.
