Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AMONGST CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED THROUGH THE MEDIA OF MUSIC, DRAMA, DANCE AND ART WITH THE AIM OF ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY; FOR THE PURPOSE OF THIS CLAUSE “SOCIALLY EXCLUDED” MEANS CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING FACTORS: FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, ILL HEALTH (PHYSICAL OR MENTAL), SUBSTANCE ABUSE OR DEPENDENCY INCLUDING ALCOHOL AND DRUGS, DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF SEX, RACE, DISABILITY, ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, BELIEF, CREED, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR GENDER RE-ASSIGNMENT, POOR EDUCATIONAL OR SKILLS ATTAINMENT, RELATIONSHIP AND FAMILY BREAKDOWN, POOR HOUSING (THAT IS HOUSING THAT DOES NOT MEET BASIC HABITABLE STANDARDS) OR WHO ARE WITHIN, OR HAVE EXPERIENCED, THE PUBLIC CARE OR PENAL SYSTEM. 2)TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS THROUGH· THE PROVISION OF MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA AND ART PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE; AND ·PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS. 3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS IN THE FIELDS OF MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA AND ART. 4)FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS IN THE FIELDS OF MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA AND ART OF IN SUCH WAYS AS THE CHARITY TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY:·AWARDING TO SUCH PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS ·PROVIDING FOR THEIR EDUCATION THROUGH THE STUDY OF MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA AND ART AND TO UNDERTAKE TRAVEL IN FURTHERANCE OF THAT EDUCATION.
