Charitable objects
1)TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE HISTORICAL HERITAGE OF LONGRIDGE AND ITS SURROUNDING VILLAGES. IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY: A) COLLECTING AND PRESERVING ARTEFACTS AND DOCUMENTS RELATING TO THE AREA; B) MAINTAINING AN UP TO DATE ON-LINE PHOTOGRAPHIC ARCHIVE FOR LONGRIDGE; C) COLLECTING AND PUBLISHING ASSOCIATED INFORMATION, INCLUDING ORAL AND WRITTEN RECORDS; D) PROVIDING AN EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE BY STAGING EXHIBITIONS, TALKS AND OTHER EVENTS; 2)TO PROVIDE AN OPEN SPACE / GARDEN AREA THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF LONGRIDGE AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS.
