THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR, AND TO PROMOTE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN, THE AMATEUR SPORT OF ROWING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE GRAVESHAM DISTRICT.
