THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE;
- TO PREVENT AND RELIEVE POVERTY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH UNDERTAKING AND SUPPORTING RESEARCH INTO FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO POVERTY (PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT) AND BY SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.
- TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES (CHARITABLE UNDER ENGLISH LAW) FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AS THE TRUSTEES SEE FIT FROM TIME TO TIME.
