THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING THE ACQUISITION OF THE ENBANKMENTS AND ADJOINING LAND FOR THE RESTORATION AND PERMANENT PRESERVATION OF THE SAME FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AS AFORESAID AND IF IN SO FAR AS THE TRUST FUND CANNOT BE PAID OR APPLIED FOR THAT PURPOSE THEN IT MAY BE APPLIED FOR SUCH OTHER PURPOSE OR PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITIES OF PORTHMADOG AND DEUDRAETH.
