THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF SUFFERERS OF MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS UP TO AND INCLUDING THE AGE OF THIRTY-FIVE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND PRACTICAL ADVICE.
