THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF MOTHERS AND BABIES, IN THE FIELDS OF GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTETRICS, BY:
A)PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES, SUPPORT SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES.
B)RAISING PUBLIC AWARENESS, BY THE PROVISION OF LECTURES, FORA AND THE PUBLICATION OF INFORMATION.
C)FUNDING RESEARCH, THE USEFUL RESULTS OF WHICH WILL BE PUBLISHED FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.
