Charitable objects
TO APPLY BOTH THE CAPITAL AND INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND FOR THE PURPOSES OF ADVANCING MEDICAL EDUCATION OF THE STAFF AND OF PROMOTING MEDICAL RESEARCH AT ST JAMES'S UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL LEEDS AND SO THAT THE TRUSTEES MAY THEMSELVES APPLY THE TRUST FUND FOR SUCH PURPOSES AS AFORESAID OR MAY IN THEIR DISCRETION PAY THE TRUST FUND OR ANY PART OR PARTS THEREOF TO ANY REGISTERED CHARITY WITHIN THE MEANING OF THE CHARITIES ACT 1960 OR OTHERWISE TO BE APPLIED BY SUCH CHARITY FOR SUCH PURPOSES AS AFORESAID.
