Charitable objects
THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO [ARE] THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF YOUNG MALES AGED BETWEEN 14 AND 25 RESIDING IN SOUTH TYNESIDE:- TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE BY:- (A) PROVIDING INFORMAL EDUCATION SUPPORT AND ADVICE ON MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS AND ECONOMIC WELL BEING; (B) OFFERING A SAFE SPACE TO COME TOGETHER WITH OTHER YOUNG MALES AND FORM SUPPORT NETWORKS AND FRIENDSHIPS, ATTENDING ISSUE BASED SUPPORT GROUPS, AND ADVICE SESSIONS; AND (C) OFFERING A RANGE OF PHYSICAL, RECREATIONAL, CULTURAL AND MINDFULNESS ACTIVITIES. THESE PROGRAMMES WILL SUPPORT MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING AS WELL AS DEVELOPING DECISION MAKING SKILLS, INCREASE CONFIDENCE LEVELS, IMPROVE THE ABILITY TO FORM HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS AND AWARENESS OF HARMFUL BEHAVIOURS AND THEIR IMPACT AIMED AT ADVANCING THEIR CITIZENSHIP SKILLS AND ECONOMIC ASPIRATIONS SUPPORTING THEM TO LIVE FULFILLING LIVES. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].
