THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS: FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN SHEFFIELD AND SURROUNDING AREAS (YORKSHIRE AND DERBYSHIRE) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART OF ARGENTINE TANGO AND THE VALUES OF EQUALITY, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVITY ASSOCIATED WITH IT, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING DANCE CLASSES, EXHIBITIONS, PERFORMANCES, DEMONSTRATIONS, EVENTS, LECTURES, AND WORKSHOPS AND ORGANIZING AN ANNUAL ARGENTINE TANGO FESTIVAL.
