TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF BEREAVED PARENTS AND FAMILIES WHO HAVE SUFFERED THE LOSS OF A BABY DURING PREGNANCY OR SHORTLY AFTER BIRTH, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING ESSENTIAL ITEMS TO HOSPITALS IN ENGLAND AND WALES TO SUPPORT SUCH FAMILIES DURING AND AFTER SUDDEN BABY LOSS.
