Charitable objects

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF ANIMALS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION, WITH PARTICULAR FOCUS ON HORSES AND DONKEYS BY PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING A RESCUE SANCTUARY AND OTHER FACILITIES FOR THEIR RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005.
