THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY: I BRINGING TOGETHER VOLUNTARY AGENCIES IN THE AREA OF GREATER MANCHESTER AND NEIGHBOURING DISTRICTS AND STUDENTS IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE SAME AREAS FOR PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING RESEARCH PROJECTS AND COLLATING ORGANISING AND DISSEMINATING THE RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS IN THE SAME AREAS. II ENABLING SUCH STUDENTS TO PURSUE PROJECTS RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTAL WORK CONSIDERED TO BE A BENEFIT TO SUCH VOLUNTARY AGENCIES.
