THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND LEARNING PARTICULARLY WITHIN THOSE CARIBBEAN COUNTRIES AND BERMUDA WHICH ARE OR HAVE BEEN OR MAY AT ANY FUTURE TIME BE MEMBERS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF NATIONS ("THE CARIBBEAN COMMONWEALTH") AND ALSO AMONG DESCENDANTS OF CARIBBEAN COMMONWEALTH NATIONALS (INCLUDING NATIONALS OF BERMUDA) AND IN PARTICULAR BY (I) THE FUNDING OF FELLOWSHIP, RESEARCH POSTS, BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS WITHIN THE CARIBBEAN COMMONWEALTH AND THE PAYMENT OF THE EXPENSES THEREOF (II) THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR STUDY AND RESEARCH (WITH A VIEW TO PUBLICATION) IN OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE CARIBBEAN COMMONWEALTH.
