(1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE FUNDING OF MEDICAL AND SURGICAL STUDIES AND RESEARCH AND THROUGH THE PUBLICATION OF THEIR USEFUL RESULTS; (B) THE RELIEF OF THE NEEDS OF ELDERLY PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION; (C) THE RELIEF OF THE NEEDS OF THOSE DISABLED CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND THOSE WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM THE LACK OF STABLE FAMILY UPBRINGING OR WHO HAVE OTHER SOCIAL OR EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND (D) THE RELIEF OF THE NEEDS OF THOSE WHO ARE BLIND AND/OR DEAF IN SUCH CHARITABLE WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME
