1 TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND TRAINING BY PROMOTING AFRICAN CULTURE AND ARTS PARTICULARLY THROUGH PERFORMANCES, CONCERNS, FESTIVALS, WORKSHOPS, EXCHANGES AND SEMINARS; AND 2 TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF UK BASED AFRICAN ARTISTS IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY.
