The key activities for the Charity are to develop the education of young people and to promote community participation in healthy recreation for the inhabitants of County Durham and the surrounding area. This is achieved through the provision of facilities and equipment for education and the facililities & equipment for participation in watersports activities on the River Wear in Durham City.
