The Art Studio aims to improve the lives of people in Sunderland who have enduring mental illness through the practise of making art and aims to fight the demoralising effects of mental illness by encouraging studio artists to develop personal, social and artistic skills. We challenge social exclusion and prejudice through the promotion of individual and collective achievement.
